Description
Grassland Metal Cutting wheel are manufactured using with tough aluminum oxide, heat-treated aluminum oxide , monocrystalline fused alumina (SA) or silicon carbide abrasive grain and fibreglass reinforcing andBonded with high quality resin to provide both safety and optimum cutting performance. . For use on angle grinders. Suitable for cutting most ferrous metals, such as iron and steel. Sold in Box Quantities of 25.
Two full layers of reinforcing are offered for lower power machines, and light to medium applications where speed of cut is the primary selection criterion this wheel is highly durable and delivers straight cuts when paired with stationary saws, including chop stroke machines.
They suit saws with a peripheral speed of up to 100m/s. (Standard metal cutting wheels with red stripes are normally rated for 80m/s). For use on metal, such as RSJs, scrap cars, scaffolding and re-bar. The 300mm x 20mm discs fit Stihl and Makita saws. The 355x25.4mm size fits the Husqvarna K970, K1260 and Stihl variants with 14in guards and 25.4mm arbour mountings.
